How do I register for a Riflecraft workshop, clinic or course?
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations require a written notice to be eligible for a refund. Up to 60 days prior to start date of course, 100 percent of paid tuition fees can be refunded. Up to 30 days prior to start date of course, 50 percent of total payment can be refunded. After 30 days prior to start date of the course – in case of cancellation, no refunds will be given, but the total amount paid can be credited towards another APO Riflecraft Course within one (1) calendar year. There are no refunds or credits for early departures and no refunds or credits for “no shows”.
A minimum of 6 individuals must be registered for any one of our courses in order to hold the course. We close out registration for each course 14 days prior to the start of the course. If the minimum attendee threshold has not been met, we will contact you directly to reschedule you in another upcoming course or, if you prefer, refund your tuition fee(s) in full.
What is your minimum and maximum number of attendees?
To ensure your very best experience with us, we have a maximum number for each course of 12 participants. We also have a requirement that a minimum of 6 individuals must be registered for any one of our courses in order to hold that particular course. We close out registration for each course 14 days prior to the start. If the minimum attendee threshold has not been met, we will contact you directly to reschedule you in another upcoming course or, if you prefer, refund your tuition fee(s) in full.
Are APO Riflecraft Courses women-friendly?
Most definitely! Here at APO we have a long history of supporting women in the world of rifle sports including competitive shooting. Several of our RifleSports Experiences each year include women instructors and competitive shooters. Ladies, let us make this an exciting, empowering and memorable experience for you, your personal circle of friends and professional colleagues!
What are the age requirements?
All our clients must be 21 years of age to participate in an APO Riflecraft Training course or be attending with an adult at least 21 years of age. Any exceptions to this must be prearranged through our Training Coordination Team prior to submitting your registration information.
What is included in "Basic Tuition"?
Basic tuition covers the course fee, lunch & refreshments, shooting benches & mats, eye & hearing protection. Some courses may also include an FDAC Ballistic Calculator to keep (see your specific course details to determine if this is included). You are responsible to bring your own firearm, ammunition, as well as all applicable support equipment. A complete list of required equipment will be provided by our Training Coordination Team.
What is included in "Inclusive Tuition"?
Our inclusive tuition option provides just about everything you will need for any one of our Riflecraft courses. You will be provided a precision rifle appropriate to your chosen course as well as all ammunition and applicable support equipment. Of course lunch & refreshments, shooting benches & mats, eye & hearing protection and the basic course fee are all included as well. You just need to bring field-appropriate clothing and shoes as well as foul-weather gear, and you're good to go!
Are there prerequisites for Riflecraft courses?
Some of our workshops, clinics and courses do have prerequisites. Please see the details of the course, workshop or clinic in which you are interested for specific details. When completing the Client Profile (step 2 of the Registration process) you will have the opportunity to identify how you meet any prerequisites listed for the course in which you are registering. If you have questions about an identified prerequisite, please contact a member of our Training Coordination Team.
How do I register for a Riflecraft workshop, clinic or course?
Registration is a 4-step process which includes Preregistration, completing our Client Profile, paying your Tuition Fees and Uploading required documentation (such as a valid government-issued ID). After completing and submitting your Preregistration, you will be contacted by a member of our Training Coordination Team who will outline the rest of the process as well as provide you a Client ID which you will need to complete steps 2 - 4.
All of your information is submitted through SSL encrypted forms and is safe and secure. However, if you would prefer to submit any or all of the information for steps 1 - 4 of our registration process through other means, we stand ready to assist! Simply call 434-296-8600 and ask to speak with a member of our Training Coordination Team. We can complete all your information right on the phone or provide you printed copies to be mailed back to us or any combination thereof. Whichever method is most comfortable for you, works for us!
Where are Riflecraft courses held?
All of our Riflecraft courses, workshops and clinics are held in Central Virginia. A few may be held at our corporate facilities near Charlottesville, but most of them are held near Gladstone, VA. This mountain location is about approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours from major airports - such as the Charlottesville Airport, Richmond International, and Lynchburg Regional Airport. Riflecraft clients may also choose to fly into either Dulles International Airport or Reagan National Airport, both near Washington D.C. Both of these airports are a solid 3 1/2 hours from Gladstone.

How do I Obtain a "Statement of no Criminal History"?
This document may be obtained from your local police or sheriff's department. Typically there is no fee associated with obtaining this document, but this may be different for your particular jurisdiction.
